ELEMENTS OF ART
Whatever discipline you choose in the art and design genre, you are bound to establish a strong foundation of the elements of art and principles of design. Learning the elements of art and principles of design and seeing examples through art history (past/present) as inspiration will guide students to create successful compositions. Having knowledge of the elements of art and understanding the importance of these key seven elements will help students be able to master a variety of techniques demonstrating how to use different mediums with great success. communicate their ideas/messages more clearly to their audience, especially if you are considering a career in the art field. Students understand how to put things together visually in a powerful way, and understand how visual images are put together to achieve a certain effect.
